How to Submit an SF MRA Claim

A step-by-step guide to getting money back for your health care costs.

Follow these steps to send in a claim and get money back for your covered health and wellness expenses.

1. Search the Funds Finder

First, make sure that you have SF MRA funds from a past or current employer. Head to the SF MRA Funds Finder, enter your information, and click Search to see if you have funds waiting for you.

2. Check Your SF MRA Balance

You can check your account balance online at participant.wageworks.com/sfmra.

If you don’t have an online account, call HealthEquity/EZ Receipts to check your account balance at 1(866) 697-6078.

3. See if Your Cost is Covered

Check to see if you can get money back for your health or wellness costs. Use the interactive SF MRA Eligible Expense Guide to search for your expense and see if it’s covered.

4. Collect Your Documents

Before you send in a claim for reimbursement, collect the following information:

  • Your SF MRA account number. This number is a unique ID starting with 910 that was assigned to you in your SF MRA Welcome Letter.
  • The type of purchase or service(s) provided.
  • The date of purchase or service(s) provided.
  • The amount you paid.
  • Proof of your payment, such as a receipt.
  • The name of who you paid the amount to. This could be the name of the store or the medical provider.

5. Send In Your Claim

Decide which of the four ways to send in an SF MRA claim is easiest for you. You can file a claim online, on the mobile app, by mail, or by fax.
